포르노 피해와 성폭력을 생각하는 모임

2009년 설립된 PAPS는 AV 피해 및 성매매산업의 인권피해에 관한 심포지엄을 개최하고 사회 인식 개선 활동 및 출판 활동, 조사연구를 해왔습니다. 2012년 고작 1건으로 시작한 상담 지원 활동은 기획사로부터 손해배상 청구를 당한 여성(AV 출연 거부)이 승소한 재판을 기점으로 급속하게 늘어 AV를 비롯하여 성매매, DV, 아동 매춘 등에 관한 다양한 상담이 쇄도하고 있습니다. 현재 상담 중 약 70%가 AV 관련 상담이며 2015년 4월부터 2017년 8월까지 NPO 법인 인신매매 피해자 지원센터 라이트 하우스와의 협동상담 지원사업으로 2개 단체가 합쳐져 상담 지원에 나서왔으며 2017년 8월에 독립하여 2017년 11월 NPO 법인화되었습니다.

In 2009, PAPS was established to hold a symposium on human rights violations in the AV damage and prostitution industry, and conducted social awareness improvement activities, publishing activities, and research. The counseling support activity, which started with just one case in 2012, has been rapidly increasing from the trial of a woman who has been requested to claim damages from the agency (AV rejection), and various consultations on AV, prostitution, DV, . Approximately 70% of the counseling sessions are for AV-related counseling. From April 2015 to August 2017, two groups have joined the counseling support project with the NPO Lone House for Human Trafficking Victim Support Center. Independent of the month in November 2017 NPO has been incorporated.

인사말 Greeting

일본에서 한국, 대만, 미국, 호주 관계자 분들께 인사 드립니다.
일본에는 다음과 같은 주장을 하는 사람이 많습니다:

• 포르노 및 성인용 비디오의 피사체는 피사체가 되는 것에 합의했기에 성폭력이 아니다.
• 포르노 및 성인용 비디오가 사회에 악영향을 미친다는 주장이 있으나 어떠한 근거도 없다.
• 포르노 및 성인용 비디오 규제는 표현의 자유를 침해하므로 매우 위험하다.
• 성산업에 종사하는 여성은 해당 업계에 종사할 권리가 있다. 따라서, 여성이 과도하게 착취당하지 않도록 하는 시스템을 만들어야 하고 성매매를 노동으로 인정해야 한다.

포르노 피해와 성폭력을 생각하는 모임(PAPS)은 2012년 무렵부터 성인용 비디오로 인해 막대한 피해를 입고 피해 구제를 위해 상담을 요청해온 피해 여성들이 목소리를 내도록 하는 데 성공했습니다. 피해자들은 하나 둘씩 긴 침묵을 깨고 상담을 통해 목소리를 내고 있습니다. 성인용 비디오의 피해자가 있다는 사실은 일본 사회와 정부를 움직이게 했으며, 비록 아직 불충분하지만, 정책에도 반영되고 있습니다.

현재 일본의 성인용 비디오는 유통 규모를 포함해 거대한 산업으로 성장하고 있습니다. 아동 포르노는 불법임에도 호황이고 ‘리벤지 포르노’는 인터넷을 통해 확산되고 있으며 일본의 이 거대한 산업은 ‘합법’,  불법 여부와 관계없이 소비자의 존재로 지탱되고 있습니다. 이러한 소비자는 전세계에 존재하며 일본이 공급원이 되었습니다. 이렇게 성적 존엄성이 전세계적으로 위협받는 오늘날 세계 각지와의 연대 및 협력을 통해 모두의 존엄성을 지켜나갈 수 있기를 바랍니다.

In Japan, many people claim that

• Pornography and adult video are not sexually assaulted because they agreed to be the subject.
• There is a claim that pornography and adult videos are socially adverse, but there is no evidence
• The regulation of pornography and adult videos is very dangerous because it infringes on the freedom of expression
• Women in the sex industry have the right to engage in this industry, so a system should be created to ensure that women are not over exploited and prostitution should be recognized as work.

PAPS, a pornographic society that considers sexual harassment and pornography, has been successful in bringing victimized women to their voices for counseling, saying they want to reverse their lives, I have a voice in the form of consultation one by one. The fact that there are victims of adult video has motivated Japanese society and government (and is still insufficient) and is reflected in policy.

Currently, adult video in Japan is growing into a huge industry, including distribution scale. Child pornography is illegal and booming, and 'revenge porn' is spreading via the Internet. Regardless of whether it is 'lawful' or illegal, this huge industry in Japan is sustained by consumers. At the same time, there are consumers all over the world, and Japan is the source. I hope that we can protect the dignity of all of us based on our solidarity and cooperation with the rest of the world today, where sexual dignity is being threatened globally.
